Ian Cathro

JerusalemMan

Johnny Morrison
It's not a huge surprise that Ian has been appointed as part of Nuno's staff but, as with Sacramento before him, it is at least an interesting choice to have a young mind alongside our head coach.

I liked this interview as I vaguely remembered his brief stint at Hearts and how it was remarkable for such a young fellow to have been given the job.

All to be seen how this works out on the training pitch but I approve of some of what he is saying here.

Never heard of him till just now but I like the interview. Has a lot of experience for someone so young.

To try and steer this thread back, here's another article.
It's great to read but we know that such fulsome praise and promising history is far from a guarantee of great things manifesting within our set-up. But, again, reading this sort of thing brings hope.
Even, perhaps Boyd's bit at the end which may indicate that Cathro could be willing to settle for a longer stint coaching at a bigger club to properly prepare himself for management, if he still holds that ambition (which I expect he does)
