I wouldn't really have expected his and Hitchen's involvement to be that granular, e.g. telling the players what they need to focus on. Maybe I'm reading more into what Lloris said than it warrants though. But if Nuno is happy with it, and with them being in the bench area during games then that's fine (of course). I wouldn't be at all surprised though to see Fabio and Hitchen return to the director's seats as the season progresses.

Apparently Hitchen and Fabio have to stay in the small bubble with all the other Spurs players and officials, they aren't allowed to go up into the Director's boxes etc due to Covid rules. That is why they are on the bench. Apparently they have been mates for years.
It is nice that they feel involved and have passion, but it must be a bit strange for Nuno and his coaches to have Steve/Fabio shouting instructions from behind. Presumably they are on message and not contradicting what Nuno wants. They do seem more involved/passionate than any fan though!

I didn't realise there were still 'bubbles', if they've ever really existed in football. What you're saying makes sense, but I can't imagine that Paratici isn't sitting down in an office with Levy during the week, or that the players aren't mixing and socialising outside of the 'bubble' once they've finished training. But as you say, as long as nothing undermines Nuno, then all is good.
Anyway, I've detracted from what was actually a very good interview with Hugo. When you hear him speak like that you can understand why he is captain.

I'd keep him if he's willing to stay. Offer him a two year contract. That one on one save against Traore was excellent. His distribution has improved. His shot stopping remains world class. He's a World Cup winning captain, the experience that gives him and with so many young players looking up to him is immeasurable.

Hugo won’t be smiling when he realises that Levy has deducted the cost of the frame and the jersey out of next weeks wages.
Don’t think he’d do it? Just ask the Dinamo Zagreb chairman. Levy has a neck like a jockey’s bollox and I love him for it.
It might just depend on how well Gollini settles in and which keepers we see as being available next summer....

Mourinho wasn't happy with the team.... The players are the culprit. First two games seem to confirm. We can't hold possession and have less attacks and shots. Romero and Gil not enough to change this stat imo.

Midfield isn’t strong enough and hasn’t been since the demise of Dembele/Wanyama. That’s the highest priority that needs to be addressed in the last week of the window imo.
