How much will we spend this January?

What will be our net spend this January?

I'm being optimistic and going for an usually busy January, similar to the first Harry window: Levy will realise the hole which we're in and will have agreed to support a couple signings in Jan. Say a bigger name/priced CB around £50m and someone else like Perreira or Fernandes. Offset by someone like Rose or Wanyama leaving, so £50m - £75m net

We’ll only spend what we bring in (wages included).

The £82m for Dybala will have magically been sucked back up Levy’s rectum (like a turtles head when you can’t get to the loo in time and have to hold on too long)

Unfortunately I think Levy only splashed the cash for once that window as he feared relegation. In this instance I don't think he does fear that.

Well, he seemed to have acted in respect to Poch with a view to recovering something from this season; otherwise he'd have more than likely stuck with him

We have probably spent all of our January budget and half of the Summer's budget in sacking Poch and his team and then bringing in Mourinho.

I've never had a turtle up my bottom, but each to their own i guess...

Given Mourinho's comments a day or so about needing to act intelligently and there being many more windows, the absolute most I could see happening is 1 permanent signing in the £30m-ish area and a loan. Plus Lo Celso being made permanent, which I think is nailed on given the price

More likely is just that Lo Celso joins permanently and we hopefully begin to offload 1 or 2 of the surplus players like Wanyaya, KWP etc

I'd be happy to clear out the deadwood tbh, i have no expectations from the season as i had already given it a clean slate because of the rebuild needed - make way for the summer signings and in ideal world if Mourinho has a target in mind already that can be acted on get them in

I hope we get at least one useful player in, but can just as easily see us spending nothing.

I hope we can clear some of the players who are no longer in the picture, as for anyone coming in as i have said many times its not often that top players will be sold/bought in Jan so i will not build my hopes up.
