Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka: how good is he?
For example, how does he compare to Dier and to Morgan Schneiderlin?
In the case of Schneiderlin couldn't Arsenal have got him last year for that same price?

But i thought no player will move until the last 2 weeks of the window

:D

Tbf, GB said you'd overpay for players if you made moves before then...it'd be interesting to see what @Armchair Expert says in that regard...

Obviously, overall the point is gonad*s of course, esp if you've done your homework and have been tracking/wooing the player for a while anyway

He's supposed to be very good, looks like a good signing in a position they needed to strengthen.

Arsenal's midfield just got stronger. They are building a very strong team. Only weakness is the forward.

They can buy all the Fernando/Fernandinho type centre midfielders they like. But until their front 4 start doing a defensive job when they don't have the ball they are there for the taking by any team that goes out there and works harder than them.

"weak all over"
"There for the taking"

Any looked at the table?
Get a grip people, they are a very effective side with alot of good players.

The midfield will be interesting though as they are to have too many now, unless Wenger Is trying to move to a real solid CM (ramsey, xhaka, elneny) and get the likes of Ozil, Wheelchair etc really pushed fwd and not need to worry about the defensive side .
