Goodbye Niko

We needed a bit of that against some park-the-bus teams last season. Misused is how I'll look on his time at Spurs, but anyway good luck to him.

Difficult to tell from that camera angle about the keeper or the defence.

I would like to have seen him used more on the left flank when we were dominating teams, but I don't think he was misused. He was a stepping stone player. A player to get us in the position to challenge for top four, but not really a player to keep us there. Sad to see him go as I felt he was a genuine midfield goal threat, but as the only place in the Premiership he can function remotely decently was left wing he was always going to be a bit part player.

Yes I agree with you that he wasn't really a starter for us but he had a wicked shot which could have been used to better effect then we were completely dominating the opposition, and his weaknesses would have not been exposed. Horses for courses.

I also had a theory that he should have been used as a number 10 and not in midfield but that's another (rather pointless) discussion.
