Was looking at the reviews earlier. Few said it’s not for the hands of a handicap golfer and better of with the Max. Fella I know got the Original Sim Max love that dull sound it makes.
I like the new colours tho.

If I were to buy a driver at moment think I like the look of the ping 425.

Nice. I’m looking at new irons. Might give this place a go . https://www.customlabgolf.com/
    I’m
not a member of a club and guy I get odd lesson from said to swerve the big retailers and go to a proper fitting centre. There’s another similar in Surrey called precision Golf.

They both get good reviews. Enjoy your bonus !

They get some good reviews. Even if you don’t commit. 31/2 hours to get all your specs.

I know some rick shields vids have been posted on here, so his latest one has announced a split with Nike, just as they were planning a video with tiger and Harry at the training ground. Bugger!

First one I've watched for a while so it was a bit of a shock.

Played last summer with an old set of early-'90s Wilson Staff clubs, featuring real wood woods. Loved them. Felt more in control of my tee and long fairway shots, in terms of shaping draws and fades.

The sound off the tee would turn heads. None of that metallic 'plink'. It was that nice authoritative 'crack' of wood. Typically, I was getting 250-270 yds. off the tee, but finding it easier to keep the ball in the fairway. The forged irons were very demanding as we got into the longer lengths. From 2-4 iron, you had to hit the sweet spot to get a good shot. From 5 iron down through the wedges, there seemed to be more forgiveness. But when I nailed the sweet spot on a 3-iron, oh baby, that thing just flew and felt so smooth. The 4-5-6 irons felt lovely to hit. Very good distance when properly struck and not at all difficult to shape the shots.

Another family member wants to try these clubs for the upcoming season. I'm planning on being very hard to reach.

Wondering when courses and ranges will re-open, hoping by the end March at the latest
Still find it ridiculous that my Dad has been able to go fishing 4 times a week during the whole of lockdown but I haven't been able to play socially distanced golf

I went for a walk across/around my local course a couple of days ago, hoping that it would be in fine fettle with plenty of chance to repair things etc.
It looked dreadful, moss everywhere, not cut well, super wet and boggy with standing water everywhere, like it had been left alone for a year.

    That's a bit brick
The greenkeepers might have been on furlough or down to silly numbers

So... on Sunday he was on TV talking about his recent back surgery and his meds and slow recovery and there were loads of people on Twitter/Instagram saying he looked spaced out and wide eyed.

He has a history of drink driving and crashing and being found to have a roostertail of pain meds in his system last time... so presumably there is a high chance he wasn't sober?
