Plenty head to Spain. Watch out for hard Brexit tho. Depends on how adventerous you are. There are amazing places that are cheaper than Europe, but its nice to be able to be back in Blighty in a couple of hours. Eeven somewhere like Romania is meant to be pretty cool. Never been but the coastal area and the cost of living there are appealing.
I'd opt for the latter .. we are all so fudging broken to be living the lives we do ...

Nah, we're doing great! Christopher Columbus already sailed the seas. Sir Edmund Hilary climbed everest and Neil Armstrong went to the moon. Be glad you're not living in the medieval days of plague and torture, where you could get stoned for not having faith in rainbow farting unicorns. Hang on, they're still doing that? Be glad you don't live there then.
If you don't like it, you could by a VW, paint it orange with flowers and nobody would give a fudge. Up to you. Merry Christmas! (which by the way, I'm seriously considering cancelling if the kids don't get their brick together. fudge this life too.)
