Franck Kessié

How much would come our way ££ wise

Anything is a bonus.
Kessie could be viewed as a £60m signing with competition for his signature.
So a swap Inc £20m is appx £10-20m of free money plus getting a more useful player for the second half of the season.

Can't see why Kessie would accept this.

Moving in the summer he can personally pocket a good portion of what a club would have paid for him (ie signing bonus in place of a transfer fee). Moving now, we'd pay him normal wages given we'd be paying Milan a fee (regarding of whether thats cash or players)

We sign kessie on a pre contract. Then we loan them tanguy they loan us kessie.

ok, that would make sense. The article didnt imply a loan though. Would obviously be better to find a buyer for Tubby if we can

Is that what is being mooted? Seems like a good deal if so

Not sure it's vague. Can't see us giving tanguy for nothing. That would be a £30m loss recorded in the accounts. Not great when you have debts as big as ours.

Loans would make sense. Kessie will be with the afcon till feb.

Could even add a loan fee for each. No money will swap hands but makes the accounts look better (yes i understand juve are under investigation for this, but if it's a reasonable fee don't think it would be breaking the law).

The two clubs would be better off paying each other sizeable transfer fees in that case…. Would allow Milan to show a profit and us to show a reduced loss. Would also allow both clubs to book the asset value of the player and depreciate them as opposed to having to show them as zero valued.

As mentioned above, you need Kessie's agreement too! WHy would he accept that and give up a huge signing bonus or inflated wages from being a free agent?

We value ndomble more than ac milan do kessie.

Kessie is out of contract in the summer. His value to ac milan now is £5m. In the summer will be £0

Ndombele has 3 and a half years left on his contract. So his value to us is £35m. In the summer it will be £30m.

So unless milan are willing to give us £30m and kessie for ndombele it would look bad for us. But a loan swap we can charge each other £5m to square the accounts. If they want to buy him in the summer they can.

Ah yes I thought the afcon was moved to June some years ago and I assumed this upcoming edition was a long term move back to January due to very hot weather in June.

But am I right that this is the sole edition back in January due to covid delays or something?
