Yes! That's the one I'm talking about. This match.

Few times have been more enjoyable in football.

We weren't all that good but that meant expectations weren't that high. We played some good football and it finally felt that we had our club back after years of misery.

Both Robbo and Jol had a big hand in that.

That run in when we first qualified for Europe under Jol was right up there with the most enjoyable times at the Lane for me.

Agreed. But little did we know it was going to get even better under Redknapp.

It definitely felt like we'd got our club back, and the good times had returned. Pity all the sniping fans who said he's taken us as far as he can, forced Levy's hand.

    It wasn't nearly the same.

Fans would never have sung for Redknapp on the way out that we did for Jol. There just wasn't the same feeling of closeness between the fans and the team/manager

Have to agree with this, i meet a lot of fans traveling around and i do not think i have ever seen our fan base so split as we were over " "rent a quote"

You're right, but based on performance, it doesn't make sense. Also, l can't get with the two-facedness of lauding Jol, but saying he was limited, but slagging off Harry and appreciating the football we played.

Because it's not always about being better, sometimes it's about not being a clam

Jol's last game was one my lowest points as a Spurs fan. It was handled appallingly and we lacked class.

As a club maybe. As fans I think we made our feelings clear.

Absolutely. Him being the last person in the stadium to know stank.

The fat fudge didn't act with class when he was hitching his skirt to other clubs though, did he?

Went to see Dulwich Hamlet vs Billericay today. No Jamie O'Hara though. The Billericay coach lost it when taunted afterwards and we were front row witnesses to it all. Pennant subbed off early. Konchesky captain.

Who has the best conversion rate in Europe? Clinton N'Jie. Six shots, five goals.
