For those fat bastards amongst us, you must try Five Guys burger joints when they open over here. The Covent Garden branch opens on Thursday (1st outside of America) and there is one opening in Reading shortly.

I had a Five Guys burger in Washington and I can honestly say it is the best I have ever had. All made to order, all with whatever you want on it.

I'll be there on Thursday stuffing my face.

    Up yours McDonalds!

i walk past this every day on my way home from work - will be popping in on Thursday

although it looks more fast food burger joint than the more gourmet style which have been spreading across London like wildfire lately

Is this the place which sits in the market between McDonalds and high end gourmet burger joints. Hence good for all

    Beware the chips/fries. Disgustingly salty.

Just had one for lunch. . .

Decent - not quite up to the Meat Market/Liquor, Honest Burger standards but not far behind.

12 quid, double burger bacon cheese and a refill drink, no fries.

    Would eat again

The refill drink must be a con here? I mean, how many times do you refill your drink when you're eating a solitary burger...once? Twice at most.

That thing's so sick. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine in Brent Cross and you can just have any drink in any flavour, it's so amazing.

This place looks quite nice, I'll try and give it a visit.
