This. Let's be honest, Arsenal dropped very few points to teams worse than them this season. Signing Fabregas is not going to solve the problems that arose in the matches they lost - to teams as/more tecnically able in comparison, where strength in midfield is needed to take the game by the scruff of the neck, or break it up when looking to hold on to a result.

Fabregas wouldn't have stopped them shipping 6 against City and Chelsea. Unless they sign a Matic, a Toure, or even a Ramires/Fernandinho type, they aren't going to pose much of a threat to the title IMO.

Also, Sagna leaving will be a MASSIVE loss. Countless times he whips in an inch-perfect cross spanning about 40 yards and creates something out of nothing. He is a such a reliable crosser (cf. Rose/Walker), and without an exceptional replacement his departure will certainly hinder progress towards a title.
 
Now odds on to join Chelsea, I mean they need another midfielder they only have 25 on the books hahahahahahahaha
 
So Fabregas most likely to end up at Chelsea........with Liverpool outsiders. Would be a top signing for either. Its gonna be Chels isn't it, I mean they are so short of mid fielders.
 
Chelski will sign him because they can BUT (critically) he will go where he gets REGULAR football and has a team built around him. Out of the two, the dippers might sneak it on that basis alone…who knows...
 
I don't think it would be as off the mark as the Ozil signing, if they get him back he'd be their best player by some distance, he's a tenacious little ****er as well, for a couple of years he was the only difference between us and them
 
why would fabregas come back to the EPL if not for the money?

he's made a total fool of himself leaving arsenal when they considered him a GHod, to sign for his childhood dream, which has swiftly rejected him after a short trial.

can you imagine the games AGAINST arsenal.
