In the Times it says that recreational drug bans are kept private to protect the player,not sure how long that has been the case answer it makes you wonder about other players including Lamela!

In terms of Beraihno he is sounding more and more like a bullet dodged. Although Pulis is banging on about how the club stood by him...yeah only because you wanted to make money from his sale so spare us the pious claptrap about protecting one of your own!!

it's right that players receive bans for breaching such rules, it shouldn't be made public though, as long as other clubs are made aware of previous bans when attempting to sign them

it's obviously a tricky line to draw but I don't think recreational drugs are the business of the FA, they should only be involved with the use of PED's

In my case paranoia and supposition, in partIcular having read in the times that a lot of these bans are not publicised!

I have long suspected that Clubs' reticence to give precise injury details and/or return dates are in part to cloud the guilty.

Not pointing fingers at any club or player in particular, but whenever a question is answered there is a follow up .... why politicians and Royals just smile and move on.

This thread was as much 'why and how did this get into the public domain' ?

I always thought this was very unlikely - heard rumours but then I thought - if that guy knows then a journo knows and they are scum so it would be reported, why are they not reporting it? Latest I heard dead cert was Carol but again why hasn't one of his scuzzy mates called up the sun for a pay out, they posted pics of them drinking so this would be up there street.

Also - if they don't report these how comes Livermores (with mitigating circumstances) made the news?

Makes not a bit of sense to me.
