Everton

Living within their means and not spending more then they can afford.

Thats part of it, but when we go through past transfer windows and don’t sign anyone at all then that raises questions. When we are in a fight for top 3 and sign Saha and Nelsen instead of signing player/s to take us to the next level that raises questions.

On the whole. I think we are managed well, but I do think that the preference has tended to be to try to do things on the cheap when we may have achieved more, and increased our profits by taking calculated by spending slightly more at appropriate times.

Everton looking like they may go. Can't see them getting anything from their remaining games. Maybe watford. That will be a huge game.

We tslk about the trouble at chelsea. But everton just lost a load of sponsorship deals from usmanov and have made horrendous losses the last few years. All the while trying to build a new stadium.

They still have some games in hand and some poor teams around them but I bet they are starting to panic! Going down could be quite catastrophic for them. I bet they aren't still singing Lampard songs are they!?

Think watford a was postponed.

He's excellent. Very articulate but also has some interesting viewpoints even if I don't always agree with him. The fact he ran a club also gives him a lot of insight and credibility.
I remember him calling out the parasitic nature of agents many years ago while he was still Palace chairman.

I find it hard to call a professional sportsman with a ton of money tragic but it's getting that way.

I remember when woodgate was with us and suffering from injuries. We sent him to aus to see a specialist. Someone said how they felt sorry for him. My retort was that he was on bondi beach getting sucked off by a super model every night earning £75k a week, my heart bleeds for him.
