I really hate how the couple of Everton fans I know, think they have done it the right way.

Luckily there are no Everton fans (outside Liverpool) anymore, unless they are 50 odd and remember the 80s

I don't think so, they have a problem we had for a decade.

First 11 is quite decent, beyond that .. not so much
    - Goalkeeper is mediocre at best
    - James hasn't had a full season of form in 5+ years
    - Calvert Lewin looks good, but so many strikers have a little purple patch (that's what makes Kane different, consistency)

The compression of this season is likely to kill them, injuries/loss of form or fatigue to James and/or Calvert Lewin would be a huge blow.

Can they push for top 6? yes, absolutely, top 4? they would have to do better than all of us/United/Leicester/Scum/Wolves

Signing Godfrey seems like very smart business.

Good post we will have to see. I think they are about equal with us, on first 11 but ok don't yet have the squad depth. The problem is they have money and a top coach. The 2 together will bring them up very quickly. We've seen it before with City and Chelsea. I think they are better than the other teams vying for a top 4 place.

Wow. The internals are very similar, it’s flattering but you’d think they’d have wanted to try and be a little more original. I know we took elements from other stadiums but this was to create something very different, this look like a copy paste job!
