Europa League 2020/21 - Round of 16: Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

Fantastic draw. Only downside is that in the last group match at Wolfsberger (against Feyenoord), the pitch was awful - injuries waiting to happen. Let's hope they will have improved this by February.

Home game will be a 18:00 kick off as well so not to clash with the champions league. Be annoying for anyone going if we’re allowed fans again by then.

Unlikely, I can't see London coming out of Tier 3 before the clocks change

The other nice plus about the draw is that the Carabao Cup final is the weekend after the second leg

Therefore in the event we make the final, not only do we play the Wednesday rather than Thurs in the build up to that but hopefully if we can put in a decent performance in the away leg, we might not need to field 1st teamers 4 days before the final

Great draw for us...COYS!!

Excellent that half of these teams will be knocked out:

Real Sociedad v Manchester United
Benfica v Arsenal
Lille v Ajax
Red Star Belgrade v AC Milan
RB Salzburg v Villarreal

We still need to take this match seriously though, as every team will be giving their all at this stage.

7th in the Austrian league; LASK were 2nd. We can play the same 11 that we generally fielded in the Group games, certainly for the away leg. If we were to lose the away leg, we can strengthen for the home leg

Interesting to know what they will do with us and Arsenal both at home for the 2nd leg.

No doubt it will be us who has to switch and play the 1st leg at home

A fortnight for each leg - so might be Woolwich Tuesday and us +8days. Yet to check what other fixtures may intrude, ie league or FACup

No away fans (if any) so successive days not a big issue. Were any change to be necessary, we were seeded higher, and Woolwich may even fancy away game to go out.

eta - overtaken by events ! must buy new head for my original brush

Good draw and at least 5 real competitors out in next round, I'm not accustomed to this kind of luck (old Spurs, Madrid/Barca would have dropped down and we would have got them)

Ha ha!. Just looked and you're right. Never mind Covid protocols, it looks like it's standard practice for players to change in the parking lot.
