Emirates Marketing Project

See Sterling was in Jamaica last week
He attended a party at Usain Bolt's house with loads of other people, Bolt now thinks he has Co-Vid
Yet more intelligence from Sterling in these weird times

Why single out him and not other players who have been on holiday?

Kane was in the Carribbean last week as well and is isolating, are you taring him with the same brush or is it only Sterling you want to call stupid.

Kane was playing golf relaxing with his family and keeping fit not at a massive party in Jamaica with Usain Bolt, massive fudging difference

I'm guessing their midfield/attack will be;

Sterling Aguero Messi

Torres Rodri KDB

Liverpoo won't be reclaiming that title*.

I love this comment

Emirates Marketing Project are calculating whether they can summon enough funds in order to prise Lionel Messi away from Barcelona

Just cheat like you have done for 8 years now or whatever it is

Not in outcome.

Given the way that the tabloids report on Sterling, it might be reasonable to assume that they have exaggerated what he's done.

I think there is a difference in the situation in that quarantine on arrival from Jamaica (Sterling) is not an automatic requirement whereas quarantine on arrival from the Bahamas (Kane) is (now).
Sterling only has to quarantine because he was at the party where the host is suspected of having coronavirus. Kane, even if he didn't interact with a single person outside his family would still have to quarantine.

I wholly agree that reporting on Sterling usually takes a tone that isn't applied to others and I would not be at all surprised if that were the same in this instance. I just don't think Sterling/Kane is a good comparison in this instance.

City working out how to get round fake FFP to buy messi

No FFP with Covid mate .. so free pass, why do you think Chelsea is spending money like Charlie Sheen in a brothel? buy a bunch of fudging players, even if they don't use them, they can sell once FFP is back to "balance the books", worked before, why not do it again.

No FFP with Covid? o_O

These rules are a joke anyways of course, but why should financial doping suddenly be ok just because there's a global pandemic doing the rounds? What's next; tax fraud being legal during flu season?

Ask FIFA and UEFA.

Basically they said that clubs would suffer through lack of income, but expenses would still remain the same. That would mean that some clubs would risk breaking FFP just by barely surving through this. Therefore they have basically put FFP on hold until further notice, meaning clubs can spend what ever they want without any risk of breaching FFP.

It seems their logic is making a loss is more likely for all teams in the wake of Covid, but they haven’t put any control over it, say linking it to lost gate receipts. So genuine clubs that don’t have doping facilities will absorb the losses / cut their cloth accordingly and the teams who the rule is supposed to restrict will be able to take advantage.

This is absurd. How is letting the likes of Chelski and City spending wildly without constraint compensating for a lack of income on their part?

Modern football is so fudged up.
