I think he's gone to Asia for treatment for his condition. China comes to mind though I'm not 400% sure on this.

    edit. Yeah China.

Coronavirus? I'd say that is the least of his worries.

Certainly wouldn't help things though... Fingers crossed he's okay.

I seem to remember him saying the treatment is experimental, but that part of the story might be a wine-induced fiction on my part.

    I totally endorse this.

I've been diagnosed in recent times as gluten and lactose intolerant. Gluten is a trigger food for psoriasis with me.

When it kicked in, I'd be in a bad state and tinkle poor company. Now that I've adapted my diet and focused on eating fresh fruit and veg with lean meat or fish, I'm a much happier camper and enjoying a better night's sleep - deep, vivid dreams included - that has me waking up and feeling much livelier and more positive.

A reduction in alcohol consumption - no beer or liquor consumption, moderate wine intake with meals - has played a strong role, too.

Still enjoy toking quality black hash, though. And looking forward to a good season growing marijuana again in my back yard. Had a nine-footer with fragrant buds the last time I grew one, producing a very tasty supply of lovely, gentle weed that lasted almost six years. I try not to over-consume or rely on this stuff, though. Just use it wisely on social occasions or out on the golf course or ski hills.

Or when I'm online, pounding out reams of advice and wisdom to Spurs fans.

I'm chatting tonight with an Ex Colleague - he has started a podcast about Mental Health and is interviewing me tonight

Podcast is Evan Talks, and episode 1 was out last week. I'll let you know when my episode is being released.....if at all!!

Do you try vaping it? I guess you just grow it over the summer?

Not a fan of all the hybrid stuff and haven’t smoked properly for a long time. But every now and then...

I was not a fan of Ms Flack but aware of her existence due to having a teenage son.

I did not know when starting this thread a few years ago that issues with depression were so prevalent. Felt a bit of a freak when mentioning it.

Very sad another young life has gone and I feel for her parents, what must they be going through right now.

Kind of old fashioned in a lot of ways and I dont see much benefit to reality TV or social media.

Think I drove past the fall out of this around 3-4pm. Ambulances and police cars.

Sounds like her friends were trying to help but she was pressured by a court case. Maybe the extremes of public life made things harder for her. You get the high of winning strictly and then there is nothing. Just the contrasting low.

Thank GHod the sun is shining.

    Hope everyone is doing ok.

Can imagine the quarantine is going to have a big impact on mental health.

Feel better then yesterday, was quite down. Got to appreciate what you got. Am having feelings of slight guilt when you see the lockdown in places like India, all those poor people who through no thought of their own are going to suffer and it just seems so unfair.

    Hear hear.

I'm signed off for 8 weeks with stress.
Dr told me a couple of week before CVD19 kicked off that I'm on the border of diabetes and to sort it right now.
    So I am.
Was already highly stressed, then diabetes becomes a high risk category so I decided to take a step back and make sure I don't become a high risk category.

Lost 9lbs in three weeks so far.

Well done on the weight loss. I am actually the other way. 11 and a half stone and look ill cos of it. Usually about 13 and a half stone.

Got to work on our calming exercises because it is a super stressful time.

Day 31 at home in lockdown (28 with the kids) and its been a proper tetchy brick day with lots of bickering between the mrs and me
The eldest from the moment she woke up had nothing more in mind than to try and wind me up all day
Tomorrow is another day, a good sleep and hopefully things will be better tomorrow

It is always good to share, so as such I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way mate (as I've not read the full backstory etc). Do you feel these tough days are influenced or caused by a mental health issue? I'd want to offer some advice but it's whether it's a cathartic process just getting it off your chest in here or something else that's linked in would depend on which way to go. For what it's worth your situation sounds immeasurably way tougher than mine though, I reckon you're dealing with it better than you think!
