I don't think proper watches (if cared for) will ever lose money.

Those awful, gauche things worn by footballers, Russians, rappers and oil money types will come and go. A Patek Philippe will always be a good bet though.

It only has to not lose 40% to be a better bet for inheritance tax than having the money sitting in a bank account anyway.

Something to consider with pre-owned watches though are that auction fees or intermediary fees take a fair chunk of the sale price away from you.

I don't intend for my kids to be in a position to need to sell them - I just want them to have their share without the taxman raping them.

The are quite a few specialist watch collectors and shops that if your not in a hurry and have proof of providence you would not lose much if anything in fees.

High end handbags too. I'm not sure either of my sons will want Chanel bags but good on them if they do. If not they might need to lose a bit of commission on them.

Maybe that's why the friendly has been arranged for Friday as i thought we would have had a friendly a few days before this.
We will know if he has been banned and we can then try a 4-3-3 formation instead of our more familiar 4-2-3-1 which is probably the only formation we can fit Dele into and get the best out of him.

I don't necessarily disagree with the ban. It was a stupid thing to post, there is precedent and the current climate means he was always fudged. But why has it taken this long? Is Dier gonna get a ban before the United game too?

Parrott out with his appendix, Alli banned. Can't wait for Aurier to injure Kane, Hugo to be badly cut while driving his car as the wine bottle shatters, Toby to slip on his hair gel, Sonny to be ruled out with PTSD after his military service and a few more to get coronavirus. All before next week.
