So Jol spoke to another club, Levy spoke to another manager, tit-for-tat, same for both.
His sacking only came out because someone leaked it, so not Levy just being a clam.

I not only is able to sign players of quality but players that fit into the style the teams play. Comoli was able to find players but he never built a team with us. A good director of football is more then just a scout but someone who can build a team for the here and now and alos one for potential for the future.

Levy's failure to ship players out and bring players in, has cost this club massively. And will continue to do so if he is consistently involving himself in football matters (Gareth Bale for example was 1 million percent a Levy signing, not a Jose signing).

So we signed a deal with the devil and allowed the Might Mourinho to have a go at motivating our players, and he has failed.
I don't know the reasons, but I feel pretty resigned now to Spurs never being properly motivated and focussed for all games, it just seems impossible to motivate a Spurs team, they just don't care as much as the opposition, so we always fail. Forever.

I'd add that Jose can't motivate them either looking at some of the performances this season.

Both consistently overachieved compared to wage bill and net spend which is very tangible proof that they both organised and motivated the players very well.

Their final years were woeful. Absolutely woeful "efforts" and performances. They managed to motivate them for a while, then it all crumbled as usual. Poch was a shell of a human by the end, mumbling darkly and looking like he had 3 hours sleep per night.

Poch got the best out of our players for a while for sure so he could motivate, sadly he had lost that at the end and i guess we will never really know why. But its obvious that the same players who downed tools at the end of Poch are doing it again for another manager, we need to get those players out and get some in who are willing to put more effort into their games then we have at the moment.
