Cycling the Season - charity cycle challenge

Palace Steve

Paul Mahorn
Hi - I hope you don't mind me posting here in advance of Saturday's match (and apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum).

I will be cycling to every Palace Premier League match this season to raise money for the wonderful Contact a Family charity, who support families with disabled children. Saturday's game will be the first away trip of the season - although clearly one of the easier ones (though it'll still be 40 miles in the day).

So if you see an idiot in a Palace cycling top riding to the match do say hello.

If you'd like to read more about it, my blog is https://cyclingtheseason.wordpress.com

And if you'd like to donate my just giving page is https://www.justgiving.com/CyclingtheSeason or you could text CPFC16 £5 (or whatever amount) to 70070 to donate to Contact a Family and make a difference today.

Steve

Good luck with the fundraising Steve - feel free to pop in to the match thread stickied on the main forum and give us your views on the game/Palaces chances this season :)

good luck

careful on Tottenham High Road and I'd strongly suggest avoiding Tottenham Hale roundabout, nearly been squashed under a bus a few times

what do you do with your bike during the game?

Cheers. I'll just lock the bike up somewhere (anyone know if there's any cycle parking in the area?) This will be the first away match I've ever cycled to, but never had any problems at Selhurst Park (so fingers crossed!)
