Looks like the antibodies elicited by Novovax and Moderna vaccines protect against the Nigerian strain too.

That's great news, but isn't that precisely what we'd expect to see from vaccination?

So if it carries on there is no excuses about delaying June 21st and people getting back to some form of normality !!!

Was reading that Greece could be a green which means we will be able to go to Rhodes as a family end July
Even if we have to pay for pre-departure tests we will

So at least there’s a considerable upside for the rest of the world, if the lockdown does get extended.

feels like we're opening up a month too early (personal opinion). we're so close to getting into the lower ranges and now we'll open up, the majority of people who will be out and about will be the people who have yet to be vaccinated.

    Could be right
Only thing that may is help is you can’t get many tables in places due to limited capacities

The data in @SteveAWOL's post on this page show that cases in school ages children are falling too. They've been mingling for a few weeks now so we should be seeing signs there if opening up now were a risk.

Exactly this, they expected the cases to shoot up and they just haven't
The testing at schools is obviously helping too
