    Damn.

Well, like I said I will simply not have any money to spend on food and drink when I get there.

Heck if we make CL next season then at these prices there is no way I will be going to any domestic cup matches no matter the cost of those tickets

Sign of the times ...Think there was something in the press about pricey away tickets for Utd at Barca £102 ..and Liverpool at Porto £78.

Think UEFA are gonna cap it for away fans.

It's a lot of money if Spurs don't turn up and we get spanked.
It's cheap if it is a rip-roaring CL night under the stars that you remember for 10 years.

Don't forget it costs over £100 to fill up a large car nowadays, so £62 spent on CL at the New WHL is money well spent

I guess that explains why I do not have one.

Meanwhile I continue to wake up in a hot sweat due to nightmares of Raheem Sterling and Mane ripping a new one out of our full backs

That said, if they could rip a new one to replce Trippier and another new one to replace Aurier, then might not be all bad! :D

Tottenham Hotspur: Choose your own Champions League adventure

The year is 2019. You are Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, a medium-sized football club based at various locations in London. Never before in the 64 years of the European Cup and Champions League have Tottenham been champions of Europe. This year, they’re through to the quarter-finals for only the third time in their history. Few expect them to go much further.

But you’ve got other ideas. Even if the odds are stacked against your team, you know that in the later stages of the Champions League, it’s all about making the right choice at the right moment. Just five matches stand between your team and the ultimate glory. Go to THE START to begin your Champions League adventure. The very best of luck. You’ll need it.

This is quite humourous. I got as far as the SF.

We have a genuine chance. A genuine chance of the Champions League. Did you ever imagine you’d hear that when Poch was appointed?

    I’m giddy with excitement.

Down to the last four somehow. Just to get this far on the resources we have had is amazing. And let us not forget, even if Ajax trounce us we’ve put ourselves in such a good financial position in opening a new stadium. HUGE BENFITS have already been gained and it really is Levy’s soggy sock dream come true.

When we first appointed Poch I think my first comment on this forum was something roughly along the lines of “Well if that’s all we’re doing we should have just kept Sherwood in charge. He was building something good.”

kane ,son and likely sissoko out for the game against ajax. love the optimism but lets temper it with a bit of realism.

While I'd love us to go on and do this, we still have Ajax to beat and then the small matter of the final to not lose our collective minds and sink into obscurity like we always seem to do :(

England had a great chance at the world cup, and then it all got in front of them with this poxy three lions bs and hysteria (no, not def leppard) - don't want the same to happen to us..
