Jimmy Greaves - greatest Spurs player ever
He's been carrying Denmark for the past few years.

    Yep he’s thier best player.
I think we will find if he’s been carrying us fairly soon.

I find it mind blowing that people cant see the importance of him to the side, even when he isnt playing well he is the one making us tick.

Just dont let him near a corner ffs.

I’m a huge but realistic admirer of the maestro, don’t let me give you the wrong impression.
He is a key player without a doubt.
If he is off there is little we will be able to do after all our purported efforts to keep him.
    So we move on.
No player is bigger than etc.

Dont forget DeGea wanting £350k a week.

When goal keeper is looking for that money, what is someone like Eriksen worth?!

Thing is though, at that level there really is only a few places he could go.

Juve would be a good fit for Eriksen.
Not sure they need him though.
City, to replace Silva who said he may head home?

DeGea is worth 30+ goals a season though

He is a very good keeper, but not THAT good, IMO.

    £350k is ridiculous.

I would be amazed if he is still in a Spurs shirt after next season... he is off. Hopefully to a foreign club. he would massively improve all of our rivals.

If he is off, itll be this summer IMO.

We can cash in for (relative) big bucks then, and will do so if we dont think he will sign another contract.

No way we let him slip away for nothing.

And even this summer, he is a £100m+ player, thats the sort of money that allows us to reshape the team.

Which we would have to do if he goes. Rather take that this summer, than try to do it next summer without the cash...

That was Dele's and Kane's fault they should have asked the Burnley strikers.
Go aerial he is not as effective imo.
    it's history now.

    Agreed.
But Barcelona is full of his type and Real is all over the place and needs sorting.
    City worries me.

I think he made one good save that game. Absolutely everything else was right at him. Had Lloris not made the same saves he would have been slaughtered. But as its De Gea it was world class goalkeeping...

I wouldn't even call it one, Sandra could have kept a clean sheet in that game due to our diabolical finishing

The one with his feet was good I thought, other than that I agree completely.

We tore them apart, should have scored 5, but instead put every shot right into his arms...

Thought he was similar and competent like DdG against Leicester but their finishing was poor like ours.
