There was nothing for you tonight. Hull & Norwich had a nice nil-nil with your name on it last night. DVD from the club shop for Christmas.

    Mental!

I can see a team folding and conceeding a bunch of goals under a new manager/system, it happens. And fair play to them for attacking well.

I think Im more shocked by a Karanka team scoring 5 though! In one game instead of one month!

The lad Loley at Forest, keep an eye on him, looks quality.

Stats make for interesting reading on that one

Villa 63% possession, 26 Shots, 12 on target and 12 corners
Forest 37% possession, 8 Shots, 5 on target and 2 corners

Thats much more Karanka! And suggests it was a freakishly high conversion for them. On another day they would have gotten battered.

Extremely rarely so. Some VERY good goals in there as well. As I say, on another day I think they would have got spanked.

Seen a fair bit of Championship football this season, Karanka is still a very defensive coach. He has Forest more positive/attacking than he had Boro, but its relatively speaking, its still pretty negative. Playing the percentages all the way...

For them to get 5 is a highly unexpected thing. Villa? Not so much, with Smith the intent will always be to attack and he sets teams up well to do so.

    These are brilliant:

    "fudge me, calm down Kaka!"

"Gregory takes it on his chest like a slut"

"I told you we are usuelss, this club is rotten from top to bottom, sack the board, I want my season ticket refunded."

Derby County have said the person police spoke to acting suspiciously outside their training ground on Thursday was an employee of Leeds United's football staff.

The sixth-placed Rams visit the Championship leaders on Friday.

They said in a statement they were "in discussion with Leeds club officials in relation to this incident".

The BBC has asked Leeds United for a response, while Derbyshire Police said no arrests have been made.

In a statement, they said officers were called to Derby's training ground on Thursday morning and a man was spoken to at the perimeter fence.

The statement added: "Officers conducted routine checks which were all above board. Despite media reports, no damage to the fence was found, and the man was stopped outside the grounds.

"No arrests were made and the man was sent on his way."

The English Football League have told the BBC that it is a matter for the two clubs to resolve.

"It is, of course, up to Derby County as to how they progress this matter but as of yet we have received no complaint or contact from the club," an EFL spokesman said.

This is some old school skullduggery, I quite like it.
