West Ham pull off an other fantastic signing as they sign 33 year old goalkeeper Roberto who has been released by Espanyol, " I think everyone who follows football knows the importance of this club, so I'm really excited" he told journalist after sucking his LSD laced sugar cube.

An excerpt from Jonathan Wilson's piece on Sarri:

You hope Maurizio Sarri enjoyed his first trophy in professional football – but this, surely, was not how he imagined it when he whiled away the hours working on the foreign exchange desk at a bank in Florence. Perhaps he had dreamed of one of the great citadels of European football, of Wembley or San Siro, of the Camp Nou or the Luzhniki, but instead he got the Olympic Stadium in Baku. It is a place so ill-conceived that not only is the stadium inaccessible to most of Europe but the pitch seems inaccessible from most of the stands, laid out like a Subbuteo cloth on a snooker table, as though somebody had seen the London Stadium and thought: “We’ll do that, but more so.”

ARNAUTOVIC SUBMITS TRANSFER REQUEST

Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request at West Ham, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands an unnamed Chinese club has made an offer to West Ham for the 30-year-old striker, who has told the club he is determined to leave the London Stadium during this summer’s window.

In January, the Austria international attracted interest from two Chinese clubs, believed to be Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande, with West Ham rejecting a £35m offer for him.

Instead of cashing in on Arnautovic, manager Manuel Pellegrini agreed a new £100,000-a-week four-year deal with the forward, who has scored 22 goals in 65 appearances since joining from Stoke in 2017.

BREAKING NEWS

Sky sources: West Ham have rejected a bid of 22m Euros (£19.7m) from a Chinese Super League club for Marko Arnautovic.

We understand they regard the bid as insulting for a player of Arnautovic’s quality.

Little strange this one, I’d have thought demand for tickets would remain high enough to make it one of the most likely games to sell out, so surprised Levy is discounting the cost of tickets? Unless it’s a smokescreen for marking up more category C games to cat B!!

Theyve data on two seasons at an increased capacity, I fully expect its a numbers/stats driven decision.

I still enjoy it though.

West Ham get demoted publically and then lose their star striker in embarrassing fashion, its been a good week.

Now, speaking on Sky Sports News' The Transfer Show, Sky Sports Newsreporter Kaveh Solhekol revealed the club are ready to get rid of the controversial Austria international.

"I have been in touch with a very senior source at West Ham and asked him 'are you okay with us reporting that a deal has been agreed for Arnautovic to go to China? We have heard it will be announced in two days.'

"He has just sent me a reply, and the reply says 'yes. Terrible deal for us, but manager, staff and players want him out'.

"They are so desperate to get him out of the club that they are willing to do a terrible deal to get him out of West Ham.

"I have had another message from someone else who knows what is going on at West Ham, and it says 'a deal is getting closer for Marko to leave €25m. We feel we have no choice but to let Marko go as it is bad for team morale if he stays.

"'The team is the most important thing and players who want to play for a team moving in the right direction is the most important thing.'"

Which of the porn dwarves was it? We know it would have been one of them, theyre both so small time.
