I agree. For a few dollars more was also brilliant. Maybe even prefer it to the good the bad the ugly... Which I also love. Just thinking about those, makes me want to start making short films again. Spent the last 15 years doing corporate/community stuff which I do enjoy. But the buzz about getting your movies into festivals and seeing them on the big screen and audience reaction is almost worth the money You lose in making them... Almost.

Go for it man, having a job which excites you and gives you a buzz is worth a few sacrifices. As for the dollar films they were game changers in their day. Getting back to "WUATITW" the opening 10 minutes or so was spell blinding ( imo) no talking just acting and building atmosphere, the wheel turning round and making the one noise. Brilliant.
The anticipation that it builds... Wow.
