We desperately need a lift and he's by far the best finished-product player which we would be able to afford and attract. The next best player which we could attract would be significantly worse

    You’ve lost your mind mate.

You posted the greatest post in the history of the internet last week about Eriksen and now you’re talking brick about Bale. I can’t make sense of it. I guess proper geniuses really are eccentric.

Liverpool have just signed an injury prone player and everyone agrees he is class ... he is 2 years younger and played over 100 games less and in 7 seasons he managed 150 league games for Bayern... does that give bale on loan any context?

all things considered, I’d take him over the other two due to their age, he could have another 3/4 years in him

(Ronaldo maybe could too to be fair, his body is a work of art)

Zidane saying it's not done... Hopefully that's what he has to say, contractually.

Maybe Spurs getting some second medical opinion over his injury? I'd hope that all the main terms are agreed, otherwise presumably he wouldnt have travelled to England given there was no urgency to do so

I wish we'd bought the Murphy twins. Each comes with a complete set of spare parts.

    It’s all done
What he means is it hasn’t had wet signatures probably

Wouldn't blame club looking at things if he has a knee injury based on age and cost of the deal

Arsenal - West Ham tonight. Should announce it just in time for the commentators to have something worth talking about.

Wouldn't it make more sense to announce before a match more relevant to the top parts of the table?

Wet signatures rarely needed nowadays, unless something is being executed as a deed

Yet football clubs sign using a pen...
these are employment contracts don’t forget so underhand or under deed isn’t relevant

It’s clearly not done. Otherwise there’d be an announcement. I’m not saying it’s gone tits up, but I also don’t think it’s sealed yet
