I think thats to his shame.

Clearly just lives in a bubble, probably has a translator on hand at all times.

Imagine living in Spain for 5 years and not learning the language, experiencing the country and culture etc?

    Shameful.

I was surprised to read this via Marcelo’s quotes. He’s been there a while now so assumed living in Madrid was part of his reasons for staying on even when the crowd / manager didn’t fancy him. It must make training a lonely affair, one of our strengths is it appears that the players genuinely get on with each and enjoy the social side of training too.

He’s always seemed a little shy so I can understand why he’d want to keep doing interviews in English but it’s not like he couldn’t employ someone to teach him it he doesn’t have the spare time to learn.

I don’t see a scenario where he plays for us again, my suspicion is he will go the highest bidder.

Courtois in a textbook case of,

“Look, look over there, my diabolical goalkeeping isn’t the reason Madrid are struggling”

With Marcelo weighing in about Bale it does seem the dressing room is a lovely place to be for Gareth.
I can see United making a big deal out of signing him.

We should get him back, whatever the cost.

What a club eh? When you want a player get the team to talk about we want him to come and play. And also get the team to slag you off when they want rid.
Bale is probably just a victim of not being a big enough clam for that club.

With his injury record, We'd be mad not to do a pay (at least the big bonuses) as you play.
But now he's experienced a hostile club, perhaps he'd be up for some love and taking us to the next level?

It would be Hazard plus a lot of cash surely, Bale is much better in every way.

Well when Bale’s not injured... plus Hazard has at least made the effort to learn a 2nd language since moving to England...

Oh yes, Manure will be all over him. Big name signing and all that. Never mind his injury record and whether he'll fit them or not (he probably will of course, he's that good).

    £100m?

All those injuries and he’s still managed to win 4 European cups single handedly.

Hazard is talked about like he’s the next Bale/Ronaldo/Zlatan, yet he’s won what, 1 major?

If he was that good then Bale should’ve at least got us a CL spot before going on strike to secure his move!

No player is good enough to make up for the level of corruption in the PL, you need Levy as chair for that.

Scored the winning goal after coming on as sub again at the W/E, refused to celebrate the goal with his team mates though, just jogged back to the half way line. Well done Gareth, they’ve clearly got a problem with you so F them!

Scoring at a rate of 1 in 2 games there, pretty good for a wing forward whose apparently flopped.

I’d have him back, unfortunately finances dictate it’s not possible.
