Yes that last one is the "never happen" clause.

I think the price reflects his lack of Premier League experience. They are effectively paying for a player whose level has been up til now, championship. Of course for those who followed him when he was at Brentford like me, and who feel there is a very good player in there, it's cheap. Based on the yardstick of PL experience I would be dissapointed if Bentaleb was sold for less than double that price. Gutted both are going tbh.

Leaves with a lot of goodwill.

    Good move and good luck.

Shame to see him go as I thought he'd make it at Spurs; however we have to believe in Poch. I'd forgotten that he was 23

The move seems like a great deal for all parties.

Genuinely gutted but in Poch we trust

Always think it's a crying shame when we can't fit talent like him in the squad but we have to back the man in charge 400%

Hope he proves us wrong in letting him go. At least he'll be playing for Chrissy Hughton who I'm sure will get the best out of him.

Loved watching him when he was at Brentford so now Brighton will become my Championship team for the duration. He has the talent to become the most entertaining player of all at that level.

    Indeed
I hope we're not making a mistake but it would be good to see him do well

It's ok, we can follow the current trend of buying back players for 10x the amount in a few years time.

Except that a bidding war requires two parties that both have money to spend.

Norwich will have some money to spend. I don't think they operate a particularly large wage bill and the PL parachute payments are significant.

Yup.... Let's face it though there is never going to be a huge bidding war for a player like Pritchard anyway.
