Not a bad position from the first day. Its critical to make early inroads though. Don't want to be chasing too much on here batting 4th.

They have City away coming up. That'll show us the level that they're at.

Hmm wish I was that confident. We're bowling teams out but struggling with the bat at the moment. Life would be a lot easier if Glamorgan could do us a favour. Was a big shame to see what happened to your boys. Happened to Sussex though and they bounced straight back so hoping you'll be fine.

Come on Derbyshire. Please don't mess this up. Still fully expecting us to miss out and come 3rd.. Lots of rain in the Cardiff area would be handy.

Only a few weeks ago, KP was on Talksport saying he loved test cricket and wanted to get to 10000 runs. Seems a bit of a U turn in a short time???

    *Official 2012/2013 expectations*

Too much has changed from last season for it to click properly I think plus we are looking so lightweight up front - hard to see where the goals are coming from just now. Expect the Manchester mafia and the two scums will end up above us this year as they've both bought well. 5th at best...

The Eric Hollies stand at Edgbaston on a Saturday is a great atmosphere. Its close between that and the Fox Road at Trent Bridge. Western Terrace at Headingley is more of a football crowd I'd say and same seemed to be the case when we sat in Peter May stand at the Oval this year. Been to Old...

Big shame really. I'd really like to see WI become a force again but it just doesn't look like its on the cards for a long while yet at least. Current series against them are a bit of a non-event. Their confidence seems so fragile. They seem to play themselves into a game then something goes...

Well played England. Cricket seems to be going too well at the moment. Bound to go tits up soon I'm sure of it.

    The Official EURO 2012 thread

Glad to see Ruddy get a call up but Jesus I'm going to struggle to support that team. There is a direct link between the amount of enthusiasm I show for an England side vs the amount of blue/red scum in it. I can safely say I'll be wanting them to get knocked out in the groups this year.

    Parker or Sandro?

Sandro is good when he's good (sub appearance vs Arse at home and today) but bad when he's bad. They both have a part to play. Crucial position for us so happy to see the two rotated to keep them both fresh. Parker was being run into the ground.

    General Predictions League 2011/2012

Well I didn't expect that from a relegation haunted team. Not sure sticking 11 men on the wrong side of the half way line and not having a shot on goal is going to get you out of the mire with a trip to Stamford Bridge to go. We'll take it though - need all of the luck we can get. Not sure...

We are hideous at the moment. Might just have enough to beat Blackburn at home. Who knows. They seem to have their minds on the Summer break now. TOTTENHAM 2 BBURN 1
