Son Heung-Min

Until the incident with Cech, I was very pleased with his performance. He's a good player to have in the squad - quite versatile, works hard, quick, mobile. Unlikely to ever be a starter but good squad player

We saw some anger from him in one game this season. Can't remember which one. Maybe a CL game where he had a little row with someone and showed some aggression. For me that is all that's missing from his game. He needs more of that. To never jump a 50-50, to bring some drive and anger into the a game, real real desire.

When Lamela took the penalty :D

I know and agree - its why I see him as a squad player rather than being good enough to be a regular in our best 11. That said, with European games he'll get a lot of starts given we can play our best 11 Sat-Wed-Sat etc

He's just too nice.

He's just not a Poch player. He can't follow through his press properly.

Lamela in that situation would have gone in both studs up.

Lamela or Harry or Danny Rose - no way would we have come out of that moment without the ball and an open net, or a free kick and possibly a red card for Cech.
I can well believe Poch will be absolutely furious.

Son is soft and his performances are so up down - Poch has more patience than me.....he would make even batbrick crazier than I am normally.

Or dele
If it was Lamela I think cech would have been for the rest of the season

He adds pace to our attack, I'd like to see him continue in a pair with Kane. Bit of a ponce though -- should've smashed into Cech, it was a free hit.

Thought he did allright today, apart from the pussying out. Why he did that, I will never know. Stick your foot out at least. Looks a bit like a tried to anticipate a Cech clearance.

Don't think so.

By that stage lamela would have got a needless yellow and couldn't put his foot in by that stage.

Look again, whilst I can see the argument for him bottling it, chech got there just before and son tried to read the hack off for a throw and chech didn't do it so it made him look like he bottle out more than he did.

Son was a little threat today - a bit in and out but he gives our pLayers more room so he is important and IS a player who poch sees as important.

Much better today than in the past few games. I think he should've gone for the shot when he was through in the first half, and obviously pulling out of the Cech challenge was poor, but he was much more involved today.

As long as he can pass it off as an accident, good on him.
Yep. He is best at fouling on our team, and I mean that in a good way. He pushes the envelope in every match in much the same way as say Costa but without the histrionics. Most of his fouls are tactical and designed to break up play, and considering how many times he does it he really does have the knack of getting away with it.
