Apple Music Issue

Have had Apple Music on my Ipad for a few weeks now, really good enjoying it, etc

However I tried to add some songs from my Itunes library this morning and it won't let me

Anybody else using it, had this issue and knows how to remedy it ?

do you mean songs you already had in iTunes?

how were you trying to add them, from purchased music or via an iTunes sync?

Yeh manually trying to add music that was already in my itunes library to my device, they simply wont add

I had something similar on mine, first time I turned Apple music on on the phone it didn't offer me a merge or replace option and just replaced, I had to turn Apple music off, resync in iTunes then turn Apple music on the phone back on, this time it asked me if I wanted to replace or merge, you have to select merge

I've found the best setup for me is to have Apple music on on the phone and iPad but on my laptop leave iCloud music library turned off, that way it doesn't fudge with what I already have but I can still stream from for you/radio/new/search

Nearly all the music I had on my phone has gone. I now only have 6 albums. What a brick update

it did that to me but I think it was my fault, happy clicking and didn't read the instructions properly

when I went through it again it worked as expected
