Why the **** aren't these guys playing anymore? Hadn't checked it out before quite recently and now I'm hooked, I need to see them at some point!

The released a comeback album in 2007, which I was completely unaware of until I came across it in a second hand store. Thought it was really good. Released a 4th album in 2010, but took a break for Crispian Mills to direct a film (which has been completed). Don't know why they haven't started touring again.

I'm at Islington Assembly Hall, managed to nab a ticket for one of the Foos club gigs. Can't feckin' wait.

Yeah it was pretty damn awesome! I'm no super-obsessed fan, but over the years I have really racked up my Foos gigs, I think it's almost thirty at the last count, they just seem to be gigging whatever continent I'm currently residing in! Never seen a duff show in that time.

Good venue as well, were you standing or sitting upstairs? The sound was good for the Foos on the floor.

Ah, cool!

A friend of mine runs the venue so they'll be pleased to hear you liked it. I was downstairs, and yep, the sound was really good... Always better in smaller places.

Apparently my friend had to try and stop it leaking ahead of time that they were playing there... What a buzz then to announce it!

I was meant to go earlier in the year to see Courtney Barnett but couldn't make it, that would have been ace.
