nita nitro by the wild hearts, must be from 1994 or something
Tremendous (1995 BTW).

Not specifically that song but been listening to the album way too much since I got it.

I was kinda hoping that this would be the result of the thread, that we could discover new music that we enjoy through the postings of others.

In that case (and this should probably go in the music thread!), but just going to do a shameless plug for my mates' band, The Temperance Movement. They're causing a stir back home now, just been signed up and touring. Good old dirty rock n' roll.

I've been into a couple songs that aren't my normal kind of music, but I just find them really catchy.

Capital Cities - Kangaroo Court:

Apocolyptic Love by Slash is a great album, and I find myself listening to that, and "You're a Lie" in particular, a hell of a lot.

Discovered this recently, amazing cover

Good find. The lead singers vocal style reminds me of the surprise that beset people when Zach Galifianakis started singing in Hangover 3. I'm sure the latter was likely false but it serves for my analogy. Good acoustic piece.

Vance Joy - rising star of the Melbourne music scene. Great voice.

Quite like this tune. Bit Jeff Buckley like.

The new Causa Sui album is fudging awesome! A really nice 'late in the summer' tune.

This one has grown on me probably because of the catchy chourus ''rise up-fall down''....never got into death metal because of vocals like this and for a while it sounded like a good song played backwards but now i have to say it is real quality imo...never heard the band before either !
