The sooner you realise we will never in a million years meet their valuation the better. Apart from being no where near worth that amount ability wise he's also 28 so it's not going to happen unless they're willing to negotiate the price. If Liverpool are stupid enough to meet the valuation then jokes on them (much like with Carroll and Downing and Henderson and Coates and Aquilani and Allen and Adam etc etc).

The joke being what? Getting 4th in the league?
If you find that funny then something's gone wrong.

What do you mean he's not worth £26m? He's a goalscorer. He's scored 20+ for the last 3 years. He's a starting striker for the World Champions. He's a regular in the Champions League. He's in his prime.

I'm curious as to how much you would rate Bale as, were you not a Spurs fan.
