talkbrick reporting he's gone to Monaco

He is there with this guy

according to these guys

If true and the Monaco transfer goes through the fallout will be interesting. Bet there will be a few words spoken about Levy by the Porto pres.

Edit: Joint 55 mill euros according to this:

Another edit : 70 mill euros according to this

Apparently Rodriguez has cost €69m and Moutinho just €1m

Just so that they can avoid having to pay 1/4 of his transfer fee to Sporting.

Massive prick move

:ross:

It's a c*ntish thing to do, but it's something that every single club would do given the chance.

Apparently it's Moutinho 10m and James 60m as the 25% only comes into play if he's sold for 11m or more. A smart move by Porto for sure but it's a pretty ****ish.

So it seems the dream of Moutinho orchastrating our midfield can finally be put to bed.

We have Livermore anyway so I don't see a problem.

I imagine on hearing that DL would have raised one eyebrow slightly in a touché kind of way. ;)

Whatever happens will be interesting but fudge me, Porto have unearthed some money spinners in the last few years. OK they are regularly ECL but they are financial pygmies compared to us. Or are they?

Apart from £££££££££££££ I just dont see the lure of playing in the French league, its brick compared to Germany, Spain or the PL
