Troy Parrott

I think what he has done this summer has been calculated and smart.
He didn't take a break. He kept training all through the summer.
He came into preseason training ahead of everyone.
Usually this would have a negative effect down the line.
But Parrott has a 5 or 6 week break from games because of the World Cup.

Preston play some decent football looks like a good loan. Parrott will be a little frustrated he didn’t tuck the ball away.
 
So we have got to the point now where fans sre making video’s of missing opportunities that players should be scoring?

I Dont know about others but I'll watch everything I can of Parrott and Scarlett action on tv, always try to see how our young players are doing. The best thing about Spursplay for me will be to see the U21 games, I've not been able to see much youth or development football in the last 2 years.

If he plays like he did the other day and can put a couple of chances away. Can see him play for us. He's 20 years old and will hopefully keep on improving.

I don't get why people think players should be the finished article at 20. Maybe an mbappe or haaland but very few others. Especially if they are not at a top team surrounded by great players that can help them look good.

Gil is probably his obvious benchmark (Gil being a year older). There's not really much between the two at the moment
