The Goons starting XI is good. It's good enough for top 4.
But they have no depth.
The best thing about the business we've done is we have a squad for the season without too much drop off and to accommodate the 5 subs rule.

perhaps. Its not in the 4th best starting 11s in the PL

I think they'll drop of massively once European football starts, exactly for the reason you mention. No depth. They'll just be knackered.

As a result, if they're not within a couple points of 4th when European football starts, they're screwed

Agreed.
It's a well balanced XI that is capable of beating anyone. They've definitely improved with Saliba, Jesus, Zinchenko.

Should be a fun season.
Chelsea could be in for a rude awakening.
