Champions League 21/22

Respect? Gracious in defeat? You know, the normal behavioural stuff.

They can be gracious about it without needing to celebrate finishing as runners-up. Congratulate Real Madrid, don’t take medal off with attitude, that’s not a lack of respect.

Yet again Liverpool fans without tickets prevent fans with tickets from getting into a CL final. The victims really are a disgrace. Having said that, fans without valid tickets should be allowed nowhere near the stadium............

All the stories on Beeb website. Fans are blameless, all the fault of the authorities. We will ignore the fact that it appears there were over 20,000 fans who went without a ticket.
One fan paid £1000 for a ticket only to find out it was fake. You dont buy through a trusted source, thats the chance you take mate

All in All. A Good Nights football.

Also, Grimsby showed money cant always buy your way back into the Football League. Try again next Wrexham. Blow the chance of automatic promotion, blew the FA Trophy, and now blown the play-off route too. Never mind Ryan, are you and your mate bored yet???

It isn't as if this is the first time that those "colourful scallies" have prevented some of their fans with real tickets from getting in to a CL final. But did Jurgen tell the ticketless fans NOT to go to the stadium? Course not. All the fault of the authorities..........

Anyway we can't gloat too much with our cup record can we....

Difference is we don't make ourselves out to be the greatest side our club/PL has ever had, that was going to stroll the quadruple.

Difference is even when we go on a good run, the media is at pains to explain how it's a fluke

Is anyone in the media going to run this story?

- Liverpool has played 6 PL games against the other top 4, won zero
- Liverpool has played 3 Cup finals, scored zero goals
- In Klopp's era, the best ever Pool side has won one PL title, while City has won four, one Carabao Cup, City has won four

Liverpool's record is very good for a club like them or us (I'm sure we'd all kill for that kind of success), but it's not elite club success. Look at the Elite clubs while Klopp has been in charge and you see the difference, yet somehow this fudging guy is the messiah and his team is the greatest ever (not good or great, but greatest ever)

Another example, earlier this season -> Salah is the best player in the world, literally 15 minutes after the final, the media is "well maybe Pool needs to spend silly money on an elite striker like Harry Kane?" wtf? all season you have been telling us Salah is better than Kane and Son.

I've often felt Klopp is not a very clever man. Charismatic yes. A good one trick pony, yes.

But when he was being interviewed by Des Kelly on BT last season after they drew at Brighton, Kelly challenged him and Klopp seemed like a guy who couldn't think on his feet and came across as not very intelligent.

Encouraging ticketless fans to go to Paris was reckless on his behalf. He shouldn't be allowed to just walk away from that.

Who knows exactly what happened last night. I'm sure the police and authorities share some responsibility. But it's really stretching credibility to suggest that Liverpool fans didn't play their part in the mess. Theyve been doing it for decades, the Madrid fans had no issue and there are videos on social media of their fans climbing gates and walls to get in. Yet it's not their fault at all...

So what i am seeing is Liverpool fans done no wrong and they just got tear gassed for no apparent reason?
