Everton

Can’t believe that Lampard isn’t getting hammered for that performance. It’s the easiest game I’ve seen us have for a long time. Contrast the treatment of Lampard with that of Bielsa after we murdered Leeds. At least Leeds threatened us numerous times. Everton just bent over for us.

Not only are the media letting Lampard off easy, so too are the Everton fans judging by their message board. He’s had 4 losses from 5 now with a tough run coming up.

Always had a soft spot for Everton. Hope they stay up.

Haven't seen much of Everton recently, but thought some of their setup was baffling.

To me van de Beek is great as a #10, roaming around a bit like Alli used to to. Doucoure is good at a lot of things, but can also play from a deeper position. Fully expected Doucoure deep with Allan, van de Beek roaming as a #10 higher up the pitch potentially causing us a lot of problems, supporting Calwert-Lewin. Instead he was often deeper, in a box to box role, seemingly without the freedom to roam.

I get trying to instill a new way of playing can be painful, but can be worth it in the end. But coming to us looking to press high and push a lot of players forward when attacking with a team not yet used to that style is a massive gamble at best. Plays right into our hands.

I have no problems with Everton as such, but Lampard getting relegated would be a lot of fun.

Always been kinda neutral towards Everton but they seem to be making so many terrible decisions in recent years that I'm starting feel like they need to get relegated as punishment for them lol. I mean some of their signings and choice of managers have been terrible... Iwobi, Moises Kean, Tosun, Vlasic, Walcott, Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Who?) Marco Silva, Lampard, Benitez

Not sure be Beek is cut out for this league, which seems to be uniteds assessment too.

I think he's a good fit, but needs the right role in the same team. Buying him and Alli in the same window when you already have some options for that role is a bit like buying him when you already have Bruno Fernandes and Pogba.

I certainly hope they stay up if they went down Woolwich would be the only team in the top league who ever never been relegated.

Jordan smashing it yet again. Needs to have his own football show on sky or BT I think? Although they may not be so keen what with him not following the narratives they set out.

Let him stay where he is. 3 hours a day is enough. Also i haven't got sky.

This guy is the best pundit out there IMHO. Always has something intelligent to say and has a bit of a soft spot for us it seems.
