Joe Rodon

He can play comfortably at left centre back apparently so no more of this stance where he is dier’s back up in the centre only.

Team now needs to be:

lloris
romero, dier, rodon
doherty, skipp, bentancur, reguilon
kulusevski
kane, son

Can nile john play right wing back? If so also recall him and start him in that position.

I’d rather Nile Rogers play rwb than Doherty.

What about Davies and Rodon in the middle. It's not ideal but at least they play in the same defence for Wales and can communicate with each other. Currently our defence seems to be composed of individuals who are unable to communicate with each other or organise.

And Reguilion and Sessegnon as the two full backs. (4-2-3-1)

They play together in a 3 for Wales

Although I think they have also played in a back four a few times - but it was more in the hope that there might be some understanding and communication, because we really lack it at the moment.
Dier will be back thsi weekend to get the blame for losing to city

What a game to come back to if he does. I just hope he doesn't get injured as it's going to be hard work.
We really lack a leader at the back to take charge and organise.

Alistair Gold talks about the above rib injuries on his latest podcast. Cracked ribs and fractured cartilage iirc. Also says that Rodon is good on the left of a 3, is well liked and some other players are keen for him to be picked
