Yes Royal is better, yes PEH, even out of form ans tired which I admit he is, is better than Winks anyday. Yes Reguilon is a lot better than Sess and yes Conte should have pressed big time for a LCB in January.

I would play Royal there. He's basically perfect for a back 3. Able to stride out and okay with the ball at his feet. But essentially he's a defender. Posted it pre-game. And Hogjberj for Winks.

Yep if he does stay it will be the narrative "look how great I am I turned spurs into winners" to be honest if he could do it I would then send him to the middle east to sort out the mess out there.
