Mighty Spurs vs SCBC

We started okay. Seems to happen most games: we loose discipline and determination to impose our game on the opponent the further the game goes along. By the end of the half we were all at sea.

A combination of defence and midfield are where we need to upgrade. Replace Davis with Dier or even Royal. Winks with Skip or Bentancur. And replace Reggie too because he’s isn’t quite good enough at either end - still a very good player - but not good enough to play every week. Doesn’t score and isn’t as strong at the back as say Royal. Play Sessengon and let him find his feet.
 
Really poor half, yet still managed to score and miss a one on one. Need to get control on midfield, the only reason our defence has looked better is because they’ve been protected. They aren’t good enough to withstand wave after wave.
Hoping Bentacur can help us get control of the midfield. I’d consider Doherty for Royal.
Moura has had a decent half. We need to get hold of the ball to spring the counter and take advantage of all that space in behind.
 
PEH has been awful all season but this is just pathetic. No closing down, can't pass a ball, nothing from him at all.
Kane plays a great 60 yard pass that gets us in a good position goes to PEH and he can't make a 5 yard pass.

Needs to make changes
 
Its almost like Southampton took offence at us scoring and their game.
Can you imagine us doing that?
No me either.
