Bergwyn continues to disappoint. What does he do exactly? . No pace , no trickery, doesn't provide width and gave the ball away every time he had it. It was like playing with ten men. We need to sell him in the window and get an upgrade.

Interesting that now we’ve got 4 centre halves gunning for two spots it seems to be bringing out the best in them all - some real competition there. Unlike the attacking positions...

It also suggests to me that Mourinho was bringing out the worst in Dier and Sanchez. After all, they’d both had decent seasons under Poch in the past. (Admittedly they’d got worse before Mourinho joined, but they went down another few levels under him).
