Harry Kane MBE

Yep
15 players max

It’s quite interesting actually, I’ve had a flick through United’s appearance numbers in the early 90’s, a lot of them were regularly playing 50+ games a season, compared to that Shaggy was “sick note” as he was down in the 20’s and 30’s.

Obviously United had more games to play in the first place, although better options than us, the flip side of that is that Anderton was always one of our better players, if he could play he did.

We rushed him back a lot too, he’s said as much himself, he wasn’t always ready to come back into the team.

A new contract at 400k doesn't make sense to Levy.

Kane wants Spurs to sign up to paying him £104m in wages over the next 5 years. At the end of which he will be 34.

It makes more sense for Spurs to sit on his current deal £31.2m until the age of 32.

That way we keep him during his prime years and save ourselves £73m.

He won't be a burden at 33 earning 400k a week.

The value we save on wages is equal to any potential fee we get for selling him when he's 30,
It makes perfect sense to Levy.

Give him a raise of 100k per week (5m per year) and an extra year on the contract.
That extra year means we can still sell him for ~150m next year instead of ~100m.
So a return of 50m on a 5m investment, pretty straightforward decision.

So, Harry has updated his FB cover photo. Getting social media savvy, all is well with the world. :)

fudger made a difference tonight.

Had a shot very early, crowd gave him a "he's one of our own" chant, which he acknowledged, a few minutes later 1-0.

Gil, Son & Him will be an interesting combination

It just stinks of lack of commitment (from City).

I'd like to know how many of Kane's moves were in calaboration with City? If they were...City really have fudged him over. If not, it's deployment of the amateur (CK66) playbook with a faint hope we cave in or lose patience with him, a ridiculous reading of the situation that only leaves him tarnished.

Well, you know my thoughts on this mate. We've both spoken about it and I listed the scenario I think went down a few pages back.

Well if its not about money ( we both know it would be though) offer him a longer contract and see what he says about that. IMO his actions have been shocking and i see no reason why we should reward him for it at all and giving him more money would be doing just that IMO.

Compared to Berba, Bale, Modric and Keane (not to mention Campbell) his come in a distant 5th for me.

Why on Earth would Kane sign a new contract with us, which is only going to make it harder for him to leave the club? Think he cares much more about trophies than a bit of extra money for a year.

If he gets a release clause placed into it, dependent upon Levymort, then it makes perfect sense. But both need to agree the number and not some bs craptastic number, maybe £130m (cash only) would sate both parties.
