Bryan Gil

How do we pronounce his surname, need to know for when we make up a nice imaginative song for him…

there’s only one Bryan Gil…

Welcome Bryan!!

Guessing he won’t be around for the start of the season? Will need a break after the Olympics.

Think this is a great bit of business for the club. Hats off to Paratici!

Will be interesting to see how/where Nuno uses him, though part of that is what formation we use going forward

I watched him come on for the last 30 mins in Olympics yesterday. Looked like a throwback to yesteryear and a genuine old fashioned winger. Very pacey and not afraid to take a player on. Looked composed on the ball and wasn’t afraid to slow things down and play the simple ball, when necessary. Obviously young and looks fairly lean/small so may take him a little time to adapt but all in all, looks a cracking prospect.

Happy with this deal, looks talented.

I do wonder if the plan is to get him out to the right side a bit more often, Gil seems to be out on the left more often than not (from a cursory youtube research session) and it's a bit tough when you've got Son and Bergwijn there already.

It'll be interesting to see how much 1st team game time he gets this season, looking forward to seeing him develop with us.
