Someone said a day or so ago on another thread:
- we're good enough that we feel the need to compete in all competitions
- but not good enough that we can actually compete in all competitions

Yes, you'd expect Utd to win the final but still, would prefer to not have the chance that they could win in

Villareal are knocking it around nicely, but its only 1 goal...

Biggest concern is that dodgy keeper which Villareal have
 
Quite amusing listening to the commentators trying to convey some excitement about what is a pretty bang average game
 
We're nervous watching this, but for Arse, this last 15 mins and the final (if they get through) are collossal

Win the EL and they can attract players; without it they're a mid-table team, a long way from the top 4 and with no real stars

Not sure about that. We might still get European football next year (TBC which competition, though CL is a tough ask but players abroad do still like the EL), we have Kane (he will be a draw for potential signings) and optically finishing top 6 say is very different to 10th/11th

Europa League for one season or even CL for one doesn’t make much difference. I don’t want Arsenal winning a trophy, particularly a European one.
