I think they're trying to stop weeed tourism. as there's no border control in europe these days, people can drive across the border from belgium etc. legitimiately buy loads of weed, then drive home, pretty handy if you live near the border! dutch people will still be able to buy using a 'Weed card' but apparently the dutch will refuse to sign up for weed cards, i fecking love the dutch!

They're introducing a system called the weed pass. Also they're making a 15% THC limit on weed.

Sad times to be Dutch :(

About 10 years ago I read a report completely ripping apart the 'legalise drugs' point of view. I cant even remember any of the points it made, I didnt care and just skimmed through it. But I remember the conclusion was it would be the worst possible thing you could imagine.

It's worked a treat in Portugal by all accounts.

This is clearly about to turn in to a drugs debate, which has already been fought left for the Drugs thread in the Vice Den...

So will it be boris or ken.

Is the whole country doing the local elections i know a few places where they are not going to the polls.

Think the government are going to lose a lot of seats.

saw a good diagram in the standard last night. pretty much all the greater london area went boris last time, and the urban areas went ken.

havnt really enjoyed any of the press coverage this year. its all been pretty lame from all sides, an odd confusion of personality and party. kens got the policies but nobody wants him, while boris has nothing but a cheeky smile.

i voted Ken with a heavy heart. ultimately I went red and green, as usual, because housing and travel need policies which are in line with where we are at - we want to buy and start a family but theres no money because it goes on bills. I support action on landlords taking the tinkle, olympics rent in newham prime example where the tinkle take is worst for people. some of these guys keep properties off the market to inflate rental prices, give them to their mates etc for nothing because they have 5 other flats generating ?ú1500 a month.

I wouldnt bet on a politician based on their promised policies, history tells us they barely bother to implement anything they tell you beforehand.

I can't for the life of me work out why people voted for Khan again !!
The bloke is a massive asshat
