I just bought some 90s style ones of Asos. Tennis shoe look but soles are not that thin.

That's precisely it, thanks. The ones I remember were far more like the OG ones - less chunky and sleeker.

Now I just need to buy a new one of these to fully ensure I'm growing old disgracefully:
