Tanguy Ndombele

Agree. He has the ability to break the press with his dribbling, a skill that is in short supply in our midfield. Passing around the press is another option but not a forte of ours either. Without N'Dombele in there it eventually just results in a hoof when we run out of sideway/backward passes. Neither Winks nor Sissoko is progressive enough with their passing IMO.

Maybe when Lo Celso is back in contention then they can rotate position on occasion during the 90.

The fluidity between the two could cause havoc for the opposition. With a little bit of understanding and intelligence, an in form injury-free Midfield Trio of PEH, Ndombele and Lo Celso is as good as any in the prem.

The Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Lo Celso midfield with all fit and in form has been the wet dream all season. Hopefully this dream will come true at some point.

Honestly he defies logic, plays professional football like its a kick about in the park with toddlers being the opposition.
That feeling playing football as a small kid with a parent or some other older player that can do something you've never seen before (even though they're not actually any good at football). That wide eyed feeling, just experiencing something completely new.

That's Ndombele, almost every bloody game. At the highest level.

Good to see him get a rest, the blanket was hilarious ..
At least now the dream team up front are starting to click we can afford to rest Ndombele occasionally, as the gaffer can rely upon Hojbjerg to boss Winks / Sissoko around and Lo Celso should finally be ready to play again soon.

Got dispossessed a couple of times early on and just disappeared, when we crying out for someone to try and get us a foothold in the game. It does feel like he’s one of a few that are knackered but not sure why it was so evident today.

Hasn’t been as good since was moved to CM for me. I get it’s better for the team as he’s better on the ball than Winks or Sissoko still. But when he’s further up the pitch he hurts the opposition more and when his tricks don’t come off we aren’t left in such a vulnerable position as we are when he loses it on the half way line at CM. He’s not Dembele, who literally no one could get the ball off of ever....
